AMC/AIME Math Problem Explanation Videos

The American Mathematics Competition (AMC) is the first in a series of competitions for secondary school students that determines the United States of America’s team for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Over 30,000 students participate annually in over 6,000 schools, but only the top 2.5% of AMC 10 test-takers and the top 5% of AMC 12 test-takers qualify for the next round. Though it is a challenging competition, the AMC presents problems that develop useful problem-solving skills needed in all aspects of the STEM field.

The American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) is a challenging math competition organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). It serves as a second step in a series of competitions that can lead to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Students who perform well on the AMC 10 or AMC 12 are invited to participate.
